FA Womens Super League

BT Sport has acquired the rights for the FA Women’s Super League (FA WSL), the England Women’s Senior Team and The FA Women’s Cup. In addition, BT Sport will exclusively broadcast The FA WSL live matches across the season.

The FA WSL, which currently consists of eight national club teams competing in an elite summer league, will be expanding from 2014 to include 18 clubs competing across FAWSL1 and FAWSL2. The new two-tier structure will allow for promotion and relegation between the leagues, which will improve league status and increase professionalism.

MotoGP

Dorna Sports announced today a five-year agreement with BT Sport for the exclusive broadcast rights to the FIM MotoGP World Championship, starting from the 2014 season, to be shown across all its platforms in the UK and Ireland.

MotoGP fans won’t miss a minute of the action as race weekends will be covered in full starting from the free practices on the Friday and including full coverage of Moto2 and Moto3 as well as the elite category MotoGP.

The MotoGP line-up will be further enhanced by additional motorcycle-related programming in between Grand Prix weekends. BT Vision and YouView viewers will be able to catch up on any live action they miss as BT Sport will make the programming available on demand, on television and on digital.
